I attend St. Francis, but have been absent for the last month and do not know what has happened to Fr. Heines. We would like any information so that we can help in prayer or any manner possible. Please advise.
I really don't know much. We only went to Mass in Frisco when we spent weekends at my Mom's. We followed his homilies online. I was incredibly jealous of his JPII theology students. I would have loved to be in his Women Mystics class!!!
My Mom is a parishioner, and asked we pray for him.
That is enough for me. God is intimately aware of His flock's needs, and I don't always need to be specific, KWIM?
Might I simply suggest you ask a fellow parishioner after Mass?
I only heard 3 days ago now that Fr. Timothy resigned as Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi and since then all I can feel is utter sorrow and devastation.
I am a 15 year member of Holy Spirit/Duncanville. Fr. Tim served 6 or 7 years at my parish prior to his transfer to St. Francis. He transformed my parish during his tenure there and changed my life and my walk with Christ in a profound manner. There are many in my parish who feel the same way.
It has been several years now since he left my parish and I can honestly say that hardly a day goes by that I don't think of him and keep him in my daily prayers.
You see, he is family to me.
If anyone could tell me his whereabouts or update me and tell me whether he is OK or not it would be very much appreciated.
